“I am a 75 year old short track ice speed skater. I saw Jess a few years ago for a tendonitis on my achilles tendon. I had been working my way back to competition--especially the Age Division Short Track Nationals. I was especially concerned because many years before, I had ruptured the other achilles tendon. I really couldn’t train and was limping around.

 

Jess emphasized the eccentric toe lifts that I still do on a regular basis. These, and many other movements, and therapeutic massage of the problem area, did the trick. It took a while but Jess stuck with me. I began training again and took a Silver medal in the National championships in Lake Placid in April, ’22.”
